Cole Stichler, CFP®, the President of Stichler Wealth Management, started the firm in 2014 after a long, successful tenure as a Financial Advisor with another independent broker-dealer. Stichler Wealth Management's broker-dealer is Cambridge Investment Research,Inc. Cambridge is one of the largest independent broker-dealers in the country, with about 3,000 advisors utilizing their services on behalf of their clients. They have been voted the #1 Broker-Dealer* 8 out of the last 10 years.
Cole is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®). The CFP® marks identify those individuals who have met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the CFP Board, have successfully completed financial planning coursework and have passed the CFP® Board Certification Examination covering the following areas: the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning. CFP® professionals also agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements and uphold CFP Board's Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility, Rules of Conduct and Financial Planning Practice Standards.
In an effort to always challenge himself to learn more and grow as a business professional, Cole has recently enrolled and has been accepted into Creighton University's Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. Cole graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management and a Minor in Economics. Cole then went on to complete the Financial Planning Education Program from Kaplan University. Cole holds his FINRA Series 7, 6, 63, and 65 licenses. Along with his FINRA licenses, he also has his Life, Health, and Annuities licenses.
Cole, his immediate and extended family, are lifelong residents of the Omaha metro area. He was raised in Bennington, Nebraska, now a bedroom community of Omaha. Cole has volunteered on the executive committee for the United Cerebral Palsy of Nebraska organization, and has served as a volunteer for many other non-profit community programs throughout the years. Cole and his wife Katie, who is a high school counselor, reside in Omaha. Cole and Katie have two sons, Trevor and Brody. For fun, Cole and Katie enjoy traveling to see friends and family, playing golf, an occasional movie night, and spending as much time as possible with their boys.
